What we collect

If you submit the form on this site we receive your name, phone number, email address, the building or area you gave, and whatever you write in the message. If you call, a record of the enquiry is kept. That is the whole list — there are no advertising trackers here and nothing is sold to anyone.

What it is used for

Calling you back and providing the service you asked about. For clients, the technical and billing records needed to support you. Contact details are never sold or rented.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your colour-theme preference is stored locally in your own browser and never leaves your device. The hire-versus-retain calculator runs entirely in your browser — the numbers you type are not sent anywhere.

Client systems

Where we hold or access data on your systems under an agreement, that access is governed by that agreement and used only to deliver the work. Documentation and credentials belong to you and are handed over as a matter of course.

Retention and your choices

Enquiry records are kept while there is a live prospect and for a reasonable period afterwards. Ask at help@chicagoitdept.com and they will be deleted.
